| We heard an overwhelming response from those of you who were able to catch Academy Award-winning Chernobyl Heart during its limited run at theatres, and even more from those of you who are hoping to see this film. Chernobyl Heart shows the work of CCPI, and shockingly depicts the continuing effects of the Chernobyl nuclear accident on the children of Belarus. We are glad to announce that Chernobyl Heart will premiere on HBO this September 9. |

Please Tell 5 Friends About Chernobyl Heart When we at CCPI tell people what we do, we so often find that while most people have heard about the Chernobyl nuclear disaster of 1986, very few realize that it is not just "history" -- the impact is very real for millions of people even today. You can learn more about the disaster on our "Chernobyl: The Facts" page of our website. As our supporter, we would like to ask you to tell at least 5 of your friends about the Chernobyl Heart air dates on HBO. You can also do so by forwarding this newsletter to 5 of your friends. To learn more about what we are specifically doing to help the people of Belarus help themselves, click here to see Our Programs. |
