James M. Douglas is a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP. He is also the head of the firm’s Banking and Institutional Investing Group, which he helped establish in 1985. He represents numerous financial institutions, investors and corporate clients in all areas of private financings.

Mr. Douglas, who is listed in Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Banking Lawyers, Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Law and Chambers Global as one of “the world’s leading lawyers” in banking and finance for 2001-2002, concentrates in the areas of acquisition financings, bridge financings and restructurings. He also advises on the Federal Reserve Board’s margin regulations.

Mr Douglas received his J.D., from Fordham Law School in 1981 (cum laude; Member, Fordham Law Review).
